Also information about the author, Robert Nicholson, and Colonel David Morgan Edgerton, or David Edgerton, builder and financier of the 8th Street Tunnel in 1887-1888.
NotesFirst page: "Kansas City was the fourth city in the United States to have a cable car system." San Francisco was first, followed by Philadelphia and Chicago.
