AbstractIn 1946, the school children of Kansas City, Missouri, through the Patriots and Pioneers Memorial Foundation, donated a bust of Abraham Lincoln to the Nelson Gallery of Art. The bust portrays Lincoln at the age of 21. The sculptor was Paul Manship (1885-1966). The department received this information by telephone from the Nelson Gallery of Art registrar's office, on June 7, 1976.
