| Abstract | The Majors Home at 8145 State Line Road, was built by Alexander Majors, one of the founders of the Pony Express, in the late 1850s. He was also a partner in the famous Russell, Majors & Waddell freight lines that operated between Kansas City and Santa Fe, New Mexico. A great-granddaughter, Louisa Johnston, lived in the house for many years. |
