AbstractFile contains photocopied newspaper clippings which include: a 1927 article on American Negro spirituals; Musicians Local No. 627 officers in 1952; and the Metro-tones singing group. Also in the file is the sheet music and words to "Lift Every Voice and Sing" identified as the national Negro hymn; flyer for the Eva Jessye Choir; and various programs from the 1930s held at the Paseo YMCA and elsewhere.
