AbstractFaxon school was named after Frank A. Faxon, member of the Kansas City Board of Education in the early 20th century. He was also president of the Faxon & Gallagher Drug Company.
NotesThe old Faxon School is located at 3710 the Paseo, was last used as a school in June 1997, sold for $76,000 to Prime Real Estate Development in 2007. - Kansas City Star, February 1, 2008, B1:2. (Includes picture of school entrance.)
