TitlePryde's Old Westport
AbstractThe "About Town" column features Pryde's Old Westport store, now run by the founders' daughter Louise Meyers. John and Connie Perucca started the store taking the name from Connie's middle name. The building the store is now in on Westport Road was built in 1922 and was formerly the Helen Thomes School of Dance. A bakery called The Upper Crust is now located on the first floor of Pryde's.
