| Abstract | Folder contains an invitation with envelope to the opening of the first Jaccard Watch and Jewelry Co. store in Kansas City, Missouri, located at 815 Main, the invitation dated Sept. 10th, 1888. Folder also contains a photocopy of Mrs. Sam Ray's "Postcard from old Kansas City" column which featured a postcard of another Jaccards store, but mentioned this invitation. The vertical files in this collection were formerly a part of the department's regular vertical files. |
