Alexander Harris is from Kiselow, West Virginia. He was born May 30, 1930. His mother is Fannie Lee Harris. Education received at elementary and secondary level in West Virginia which were integrated. Activities and chores in West Virginia, a coal mining area. Moved to Kansas City in 1944. Then began the idea for a construction business.
Early construction jobs and its obstacles for a Black man. Channel 19 and 4 have films of arrest being made of Mo-Cann Corporation and employees being beaten. Present percentages of Mo-Cann Corp. and its members. The importance of Black laborers receiving recognition. How the name of the company, Mo-Cann, has affected the business. Samuel Komead, republication and his relationship with Mo-Cann. Black Economic Union's relationship with Mo-Cann Corp. The success and growth of Mo-Cann. Predictions of company in five years. |
