AbstractPhoto and bio of Annie Chambers (1843-1935), a prostitution resort owner and manager in Kansas City. She was born in Kentucky as Leanna Loveall, marrying William Chambers, becoming his widow and moving to Kansas City in about 1870. She opened "her first house of prostitution," in the early 1870s near Eva Prince and Madame Lovejoy, marrying and divorcing William Kearns, and living to the age of 92.
