| Abstract | In Steve Penn's "Commentary" column he features Wayne Hubbard of Kansas City, Kansas. Hubbard is host to a TV show called "Urban American Outdoors" shown in this area on the Metro Sports Channel. It has also been shown on the national Black Family Channel. "The show, which was launched in August 2003, features Hubbard fishing and hunting in various settings, including some exotic ones." Hubbard also does cooking on the show and presents the outdoors from a different perspective. He has won numerous awards. Penn calls him "the Jackie Robinson of outdoor adventure." Includes his picture. |
