| Abstract | The collection's 117 developed photographs were taken around the turn of the 20th century by local amateur photographer, Frank S. Ford. They include photographs which detail local events as well as rural, pastoral, and human interest views taken with an aesthetic eye. Few of the photographs were positively identified and dated. An additional five prints were later made from the collection's 22 undeveloped glass negatives. The collection contains 17 negatives without prints.
Collection was donated by Berenice Ford, daughter of Frank S. Ford in 1980. The finding aid includes a listing and description of each photograph as well as a general description. |
