| Abstract | Thomas Jefferson Fitzpatrick was a professor of botany and mathematics, a librarian, and an avid book collector. The Kansas City Public Library purchased nearly 20,000 volumes from his private library in 1953. The books were not maintained as a collection. Along with the books were personal papers including diaries, a scrapbook, and numerous newspaper clippings. |
