| Title | A Bright Edge for River Market |
| Abstract | A $3.5 million reconstruction project has been developed for Second Street in the River Market district. The major portion of the project will turn a dirt road into a landscaped pedestrian thoroughfare. Work to begin at the end of September. Many other reconstruction projects will begin throughout the fall along Second Street. Some of these projects include Market Station, a luxury apartment complex, and an illuminated light wall around the Kansas City Power & Light substation at Second and Main. Includes illustration. |
