| Title | Police Training Takes Step Forward |
| Abstract | "With marble hallways and the smell of fresh paint, Kansas City's new, state-of-the-art regional police training academy opened to 98 police cadets" on September 17, 2007. While the academy will be used to train local cadets and serve as an advanced training site for police officers, it is expected to be a training destination for police officers across the nation. The facility sits on 120 acres located in the Northland at Pleasant Valley Road and North Shoal Creek Parkway. |
