| Abstract | Children's Mercy Hospital has purchased nine acres for $2.9 million to build a new facility to serve eastern Jackson County. It's located near the southeast corner of Interstate 70 and Little Blue Parkway. Construction is expected to start sometime the summer of 2008. |
