| Title | A Dog's View of the World |
| Abstract | Local cartoonist Charles Barsotti is scheduled to be part of the Johnson County Library Foundation fundraiser to be held October 20, 2007. Barsotti is a cartoonist for "The New Yorker" magazine. "With a few simple lines, the cartoons create engaging dogs and pudgy pups making wry and witty observations about their lives and insecurities and those of their owners in what is a reassuringly upper-middle-class world." Barsotti once worked for Hallmark Cards before he became the cartoon editor for "Saturday Evening Post" and later staff cartoonist for "The New Yorker." |
