TitleReach for the Stars
AbstractCover story about artist Laura De Angelis and her work on the new design for Oppenstein Brothers Memorial Park at 12th and Walnut streets called "Celestial Flyways." "The centerpiece of the redesigned park will be a 10-foot-wide interactive map of the stars set on a base tiled in intricately carved ceramics, also from De Angelis' hands." She's also designed 15 birds of steel that will be embedded in the concrete.

Article includes a short history of the park and the Oppenstein brothers called "A Park is Born, Dies--And Is Reborn."
