AbstractFramed (17 in. x 22.75 in.) group photograph (15 in. x 20.75 in.) of a group of 97 people standing in front of an unidentified entry way. According to handwritten inventory, inscription reads: "It was away back in 1885 that this party of Kansas Citians journeyed to Washington to extend President Cleveland an invitation to attend a celebration in Kansas City which he accepted...." Each individual is numbered but the identification list is not with the photograph. The only people identified are: J. K. Davidson, J. R. Stroller, M. J. Payne, Mrs. M. J. Payne, W. W. Morgan, and Prof. J. T. Buchanan.
