AbstractThe Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City moved into its new headquarters located near Liberty memorial and the edge of Penn Valley Park. The grand opening is scheduled for June 12, 2008. The new building which is the first Federal Reserve Bank built since the September 11 terrorist attacks, is bomb and bullet resistant and also houses the Money Museum which is open to the public beginning June 16, 2008.
