AbstractArticle and postcard image of the old Mainstreet Theater (14th and Main Street). The theater was designed by the firm of Rapp and Rapp of Chicago and opened October 30, 1921. The historic building was purchased by the city in 2004 and renovated as part of the downtown Power & Light District. AMC Theaters plans to reopen the theater in 2008.
