Its first location, selected by the original owners, Jack Webb and Joe Marlo, was adjacent to the Kansas City stockyards. "The close proximity to the American Hereford Association made Hereford House the prime choice when Webb and Marlo took to the task of naming their new steakhouse." Includes images.
