AbstractArticle with photograph of the Lackman Thompson home, located at 11180 Lackman Road. This home was placed on the Register of Historic Kansas paces in 1992. In 1901 William Lackman started an interurban railway called the Kansas City and Olathe. His partner, Shawnee resident and former Johnson County Treasurer, David B. Johnson, ran off with the company funds.
