AbstractArticle discusses the abstract paintings of Curtis Simmons who also works as project designer and associate architect for BNIM Architects. His design of an "ellipse of dichroic filtered film on glass" that hangs in the atrium at the Bannister Federal Complex "has resulted in a deluge of awards and accolades for BNIM." (Includes photo of this art glass.) Simmons, originally from Colorado, moved to Kansas City seven years ago.
