| Abstract | Arthur Brand was selected to be interviewed as a representative of the Jewish community in Kansas City. He was born November 4, 1922, in New York City. His family moved to Kansas City when he was five and were involved with the clothing industry. He was involved with the Hebrew Academy which later became the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy and the UMKC Danciger Judaic Studies Program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
