The Last Season For DiPardo
Not available online
TitleThe Last Season For DiPardo
AbstractBecause of remodeling changes coming to Arrowhead Stadium, the TD Pack Band, originated by Tony DiPardo in 1963, will no longer be playing at Kansas City Chiefs home games. Their last appearance will be December 21, 2008. DiPardo's daughter, Patti DiPardo Livergood, has been directing the band for about the last 20 years. Her father still faithfully attends the home games when he is able. "The band, eight professional musicians who sit in the east end zone, plays before and during the game--when the team breaks huddles, when first downs are made, after great runs. The rest of the music at Arrowhead is recorded."
