AbstractDescription and history of the Walter E. Bixby Sr. residence in Kansas City designed by Edward W. Tanner and built 1935-1937. Located in the Country Club District, it was the first International Style house in Kansas City. In 1990, the house served as a backdrop for the motion picture "Mr. and Mrs. Bridge." Includes drawing of first floor plan and general site.
