| Abstract | Margaret Ellfeldt Rees was one of the first women to train as a WASP, or Women Airforce Service Pilot, during World War II. She is now one of the few remaining. WASPs flew every type of aircraft that men did but were excluded for combat. They were also largely forgotten until now when they are to receive Congressional Medals of Honor. |
