AbstractPostcard image and short article about the history of the August R. Meyer Memorial. Located at 10th Street and Paseo Boulevard, the monument was dedicated on June 2, 1909, in memory of August Meyer, first President of the Parks Commission of Kansas City. It was the first memorial to be placed in a Kansas City Park.
