AbstractObituary for Kansas City jazz pianist and piano tuner Byron Floyd "Pete" Eye (77). His band, the Pete Eye Trio, played regular shows at the Carriage Club for 20 years. In 1992, Eye was honored as an Elder Statesman of Kansas City Jazz.
