| Abstract | Obituary for Jim Shultz who formed "Sentry Security/Protective Alarms in 1969 which grew to be one of the largest privately owned alarm companies in the United States." Shultz served with many organizations and was "instrumental in creating the 'Iron Mike Award' which the Marine Corps League still awards today." He also was a "founding member of the Kansas City Chiefs Red Coaters" and initiated "Red Friday," being the "first honoree of the Kansas City Chiefs 'Lifetime Achievement Award.'" Shultz was also a member of Native Sons of Kansas City. |
