AbstractPostcard image and short article about the history of the Fairfax Industrial District, Fairfax Airport and Aircraft Assembly Plant. The Fairfax Airport opened in 1928 and was the primary airmail departure point in the 1930s. The Fairfax plant was used to build B-25 bombers during WWII.
