AbstractRichard Nadeau who died August 5, 2010, "is remembered as 'a crazy, eccentric, wonderful fighter' for real art." Article includes a picture of Nadeau and one of the many artworks given to the Spencer Museum of Art by Nadeau, a 1983 watercolor by Janice Atkins, called "Self-Portrait in a T.V. Set #1." Nadeau was a former Municipal Art Commissioner, a "member of the Nelson's Society of Fellows for more than 20 years, and a major supporter of the Spencer Museum of Art in Lawrence, where he served on the advisory board."
