This study looks at the displacement of two Kansas towns and the residents involved, as a result of government flood control programs. The author gives a brief flood history of Kansas, with mention of the Kansas City and Topeka metropolitan areas. The article includes an image of the Missouri River basin and an image from the 1903 flood in Kansas City. |
