Kansas City's largest performing arts organizations anticipate "big and better" performances for their 2011-2012 inaugural seasons at the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The Center is scheduled to open in September 2011 and will feature the 1,600-seat Helzberg Hall and the 1,800 seat Muriel Kauffman Theatre.
