AbstractPhoto postcard and short article about the Townley Metal & Hardware Co. and its founder James P. Townley. The risque postcard/calling card showing a provocatively posed woman on the front was mailed to the Copple Bros. of Cushing, Oklahoma, April 14, 1909. It was sent by a Townley Hardware salesmen named "Mr. Downing."
