Extended TitleKansas City commercial real estate rebounds with new projects, hot trends and high-growth strategies
AbstractOne of the trends in Kansas City's commercial real estate business is mixed-use developments, as well as multifamily housing units. Another significant trend is big-box distribution which "is directly related to the new intermodal transportation centers." The article also features the top three fastest-growing communities in the area: Olathe, Lee's Sumit-two shopping destinations, one historic city; and the Northland, including Parkville.
