AbstractArticle on native Kansas City artist Rita Blitt and exhibits of her work at Longview and Penn Valley Community Colleges. Her paintings and sculptures "are noted for their colorful, sweeping, swirling lines and circles." Blitt enjoys giving pieces of her work to non-profit organizations, including the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. She has been commissioned to create a sculpture for the Skywalk Memorial Foundation, commemorating the Hyatt skywalk collapse of July 17, 1981.
