| Abstract | An essay detailing the Santa Fe Trail that spanned from Santa Fe, New Mexico on the western end and the various accounts of where it may have ended on the eastern end, oftentimes being noted as Independence, Missouri. Some historians claim it reached as far as central Missouri in the 1820s and later, shrinking farther west. Included with the essay are milage tables and maps of the trail. |
