Founded in 1880 in response to railroad companies developing and investing in the area, Armourdale was annexed as part of Kansas City, Kansas in 1886. The report discusses the founding of Armourdale, prominent residents and businesses, local politics, and the results of a social and economic study conducted in the area in 1918. |
