AbstractArticle describes the establishment and operations of the new RIKC Book Store. Rick Caplan, director of RIKC's new business development, is interviewed and provides details concerning its partnership with Kansas City area schools and libraries to recycle used and damaged books. Caplan explains how the book store was created when RIKC workers began to realize that some of the books meant for recycling could be resold.
