AbstractBrief article states that the historic building on the corner of Third and Ferrel Streets in Platte City may need to be demolished following the collapse of half of its north wall. The author states that heavy rains may have strained the roof leading to the collapse. One of the building's owners is interviewed and expresses his desire to save the structure.
