AbstractPhoto and bio of George Eyssell (1855-1908), a prominent businessman and native of Germany emigrating to Kansas City in 1876, "employed as a clerk in the drug store of Ford & Arnold at the corner of Fifth and Main streets from 1876 until 1878," later that year starting his own drugstore at 1036 Union Avenue," and building his residence in 1885 at 1744 Washington Street.
