AbstractBiographical sketch of Lou Holland, president of the Holland Engraving Company. He was born in New York in 1878 and came to Kansas City in 1902 as an engraver, establishing his own company in 1916, and in 1935 establishing the Holland Corporation ("m[anufacturer]s of electrical etching machines which Mr. Holland invented"), and serving as a director of the American Automobile Association, the Missouri Automobile Association, and the Advertising Federation of America.
