AbstractBiographical sketch of M. W. Harnish, "occupying a prominent position in agricultural and banking circles." He was born in Pennsylvania in 1843 and arrived in Jackson County, Missouri, around 1868, buying agricultural and grazing land. Description of his other pursuits, including serving as "vice-president of the Bank of Raymore," a "director in the Lees [sic] Summit Fair Association," and former lecturer "throughout the United States on the subject of phrenology and metaphysics."
