AbstractBiographical sketch of Arthur Pennell, "[i]nventor and mechanical engineer" in Kansas City, with offices at the Heist building and residence at 1017 Paseo Boulevard. Born in England in 1842 and emigrating to Kansas City in 1887 as inventor of "an apparatus and process for condensing steam by means of atmospheric vaporization" and founder of "the Atmospheric Condensation Company."
