AbstractFull page photo of the Andrew Jackson statue by sculptor Charles Keck, unveiled in Kansas City in 1934.
NotesAccording to "A Survey of Kansas City's Public Outdoor Art" (MVSC 730.9778 M96s), the Andrew Jackson Statue is located "[i]n front of the Jackson County Courthouse, 12th and Oak Streets," was designed by sculptor Charles Keck of New York, and was "unveiled in 1934 by young Margaret Truman whose father, Harry S. Truman, was then Presiding Judge of the Jackson County Court."
