AbstractBiographical sketch of Hugh O'Rourke, "assistant election commissioner of Kansas City during the past seventeen years." Born in Kansas City in 1877 and starting out with the Standard Oil Company, with residence at 212 East 35th Street. Son of Patrick O'Rourke, a native of Ireland emigrating to Kansas City in 1869 as a "hotel and restaurant" businessman before dying in 1910.
