AbstractPhoto and bio of Allan Saint John or Allan St. John, "candidate for Assessor of Jackson County." Born in Lathrop, Missouri about 1869 and establishing the Minden Monitor and Sheldon Enterprise newspapers and publishing the Lamar Republican (in Lamar, Missouri) newspaper in the 1890s before coming to Kansas City in 1906 as "one of the founders of the Kansas City Post" with office in the Fidelity Building and residence at 2847 Wabash Avenue.
