DescriptionInterior view of a man seated and working at a roll top desk situated in the corner of a room. On the floor next to the man is a wire wastebasket full of waste paper. Although unidentified, the man may be Purd Wright, director of the Kansas City Public Library during parts of the first half of the twentieth century. The interior may be at the 9th and Locust location of the main Kansas City Public Library during that time period.
