NotesHoward Downing was the first national FFA president from the state of Kentucky.

Part of a group of pictures discovered at a recycling facility in Texas. The discoverer then contacted the Missouri Valley Room. Bartle is listed as being born in 1901 but some sources say that he was born on June 25, 1896.
